FAQ
+What is today's USD to XOF rate?
The live USD/XOF reference rate based on the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) is shown above. It is the official rate, updated each business day with no spread applied.
+Where do the Togo CFA franc rates come from?
Directly from the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), the issuer of the West African CFA franc for all WAEMU member states. We mirror the official BCEAO reference rates exactly.
+Why does Togo share the same currency as its neighbours?
Togo uses the West African CFA franc (XOF), a shared regional currency issued by the BCEAO for the eight WAEMU member countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo). The XOF is pegged to the euro at a fixed rate, so the USD/XOF rate moves in line with EUR/USD.
