- What happens if I exceed the free tier?
- You get a 429 response with retry headers. We don't bill the overage — you choose whether to wait until UTC midnight, upgrade, or batch your calls.
- How accurate are the rates?
- They are the rates each central bank publishes. We don't smooth, average, or interpret — just clean parsing and re-serving. See each country page for the source attribution.
- How often is data refreshed?
- Every source has its own cadence: most run once a day on business-day mornings; RBZ runs three times a day. The watchdog flags any source that misses a window.
- Can I host this on-prem?
- Yes, on the Custom plan. The scraper service is open-source and runs as a single Docker container — see the docs.
