FAQ

+What is today's USD to XOF rate?

The live USD to XOF rate shown above is derived from the official EUR reference parity published by the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO). The XOF is pegged to the euro at a fixed parity, so the USD/XOF rate moves with the EUR/USD market rate.

+Where do the Benin CFA franc rates come from?

From the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), the central bank that issues the West African CFA franc for the WAEMU bloc. We mirror the BCEAO reference parity exactly, with no spread applied.

+Does Benin have its own currency?

No. Benin shares the West African CFA franc (XOF) with the seven other WAEMU member states, all issued by the BCEAO. The XOF is pegged to the euro at a fixed parity, so the EUR/XOF rate stays constant while the USD/XOF rate moves with the euro.
